Students typically find the month of February to be a difficult time to study because it is the shortest month. Although the difference may be of only few days, it makes a big difference when it comes to the organisation and scheduling of your studies.
Here are two tips on how to handle the shortest month of the year while studying:
1) Make a month-long plan
Having daily and weekly plans is something you probably already do. However, during the month of February creating a monthly plan may be more of a necessity. Even though February is only shorter by a few days, it passes by a lot quicker than other months, and many students find themselves becoming overwhelmed by not staying on track with their schedule. Having a month-long plan allows you to keep track of your work, and stay organised. In this way, you can avoid missing any deadlines. A plan will keeps you prepared. We suggest purchasing a big calendar where you can write down all of your deadlines, and check it every day to stay on top of your work.
2) Do work in advance
Doing work in advance is another way not to get caught up in this quick month. Whenever you have extra free time during the day, take 10-15 minutes to do a little extra. This way, when the last week of the month comes (quicker than expected), you won’t be overwhelmed by the work you have to complete.
