MBA In Finance (Top-up)

Global Business University-Europe accepts members of professional bodies – such as ACCA, ICAEW and Associate Members of ICPAP – in its MBA in Finance top-up programme.

Eligible candidates are exempted from all subjects on the basis of taking one exam and submitting an up to standard 10,000-word Dissertation.

In order to be admitted to the MBA Top-up programme, you will need to submit an application form alongside copies of academic/professional credentials and an application fee.

Once the application is evaluated and approved, we will proceed with issuing an Admission Letter. Upon receipt of a registration fee, we will dispatch your ID card, course material, and Dissertation Manual.

Within 3 months of registration, students should submit a Dissertation proposal for approval. Meanwhile, they will need to prepare for a Research Methods exam, either in January or in June. Once the Dissertation proposal is approved, you will start work on your Dissertation. This usually takes a minimum of 6 months. Before you submit your Dissertation, you will have to settle all outstanding fees. 

Should you pass the Research Methods exam and the Dissertation is deemed at a satisfactory level (i.e. above 50%), you will be awarded with an MBA degree and transcript. If you fail to pass your Dissertation, you will have to revise your work and resubmit (at a cost of a resubmission fee).

Note: Students who successfully complete their degree may apply (see ODAT.147 form) to have their degree certificate attested at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Cyprus – upon submitting the required fee.
